If you ask me, this is an intriguing card that’s worth giving a try , if nothing else. While it has a hefty annual fee, it also has some interesting bonus categories, and offers credits and benefits, plus some lounge access perks. In particular, I think this card is interesting for those who are looking to earn American miles. For someone looking to earn Citi ThankYou points, the Citi Strata Elite Card is the premium, flagship card in the portfolio, and one of only two cards open to new cardmembers that earns ThankYou points that can be redeemed at maximum value. Let’s go over the details of the welcome offer, eligibility, and annual fee.

The Citi Strata Elite Card has a welcome bonus where you can earn 75,000 ThankYou points after spending $6,000 within three months. Personally, I value Citi ThankYou points at roughly 1.7 cents each, so I’d consider the bonus to be worth $1,275.

I should mention that when the card launched, we saw a bonus of up to 100,000 ThankYou points. However, it’s anyone’s guess if/when such an offer returns, as this has now been the standard offer for quite a long time.
