The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is a premium credit card that I’d argue is in a league of its own in terms of how easy it is it to justify, without having to jump through endless hoops. The $395 annual fee card offers a minimum of 2x miles per dollar spent, credits and benefits that in and of themselves justify the annual fee, and all kinds of valuable travel perks, including airport lounge access.

Before I get into my Capital One Venture X review, let me briefly summarize the key details of the card:
Beyond that, here are what I consider to be some of the major pros and cons of the Capital One Venture X :
Let’s take a look at some of the key aspects of the Capital One Venture X , including the welcome bonus, the card eligibility, and the fees, since those are obviously major factors that cardmembers consider.
The Capital One Venture X is currently offering a welcome bonus of 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 within the first three months. Personally, I value Capital One miles at 1.7 cents each, so to me, the 75,000 miles are worth ~$1,275. However, if you were to redeem Capital One miles for one cent each toward a travel purchase (also an option), then you’d get $750 in value, so that wouldn’t be nearly as good.
For what it’s worth, this is the standard welcome offer on the card. We have seen bigger welcome offers in the past, but it’s anyone’s guess when we see an increased offer return again, as it has been some time.
