American Airlines is extending a selective status promotion allowing qualified travelers to achieve Executive Platinum status, which is applicable until March 31, 2028, by accumulating 50,000 Loyalty Points within a four-month timeframe. Individuals who hold top-tier status with Delta, United, or JetBlue may also receive four Flagship Lounge passes, each valued at $150.

The pathway to the 50,000-point requirement necessitates being a primary cardholder of the Citi AAdvantage card, and eligibility is contingent upon your professional or business association with American Airlines. Applications will close at 11:59 p.m.

Central Time on October 23, 2026, with processing taking approximately two to four weeks. Please refer to the Promotions section within your account for more details.
