Travelers with plans to stay at an IHG brand and IHG One Rewards loyalists, listen up: You could save hundreds of dollars each year by adding an IHG cobranded card to your wallet.

Chase and IHG recently overhauled their credit card portfolio , adding a new top-tier card — the IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card (see rates and fees ) — and changing benefits on existing IHG cards.

Whether you're considering an entry-level IHG card or the brand's top offering, you'll want to make sure you get the best possible welcome offer. Let's break down what you need to know.

*The bonus value is based on TPG's October 2026 valuations and is not provided or reviewed by the issuer.

If you're an IHG loyalist or you stay with the brand at least once per quarter, the top-of-the-line Premier Select makes a compelling case for itself.

Welcome bonus : Earn 200,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Offer ends Nov. 18.

According to TPG's valuations, this welcome offer is worth $1,200. Since this is the first welcome bonus we've seen on this card, we can't say how it will compare to future offers. However, issuers tend to provide a top-tier offer when a premium card launches, so it's safe to say now is likely a good time to apply.

Why we like it : The IHG One Rewards Premier Select is Chase's newest card in the IHG lineup, geared toward those who strongly prefer IHG over other hotel brands. You'll be able to earn up to 28 points per dollar spent at IHG properties, plus use up to $75 in food and beverage rewards each quarter at IHG hotels.
